The Delaware Nature Society will be hosting three SmartYard Workshops in the Delaware portion of the Nanticoke River watershed this spring. All workshops are free to attend, but registration is required.
Learn how to create a beautiful yard that benefits birds and butterflies while helping to reduce pollution in our local waterways by attending a FREE workshop.
Workshop topics will include: native plants to suit your yard; creating a bird friendly habitat; supporting beneficial pollinators; rain gardens: plants for wet areas and storm water run-off; and low maintenance & healthy lawns.
Participants will have the option to certify their yard as a NWF “Wildlife Habitat.”
