3:15-4:00 – Guest Speaker  Mr. Paul Leingang, University of Delaware

  • How do watersheds effect the ocean. Paul will help explain the scale of our impacts on local waterways.

4:00-4:15– BREAK

4:15-5:00Animal Encounters  Bob Kreiter, Pemberton Historical Park

  • Meet some of the critters that live in our watershed! Get inspired and learn more about some of the wildlife  that live within our watershed.

Day 2 | November 10 | Trap Pond State Park

9:00-3:45

Topics: Project Wild: Aquatic 

9:00-9:15 – Trap Pond Orientation  Trap Pond State Park staff

9:15-9:30 – Walk-About  View exhibits and facilities at Baldcypress Nature Center

10:00 – Welcome  Claire Mickletz

10:05 – Migration Headache

10:35 – History of WILD  Walk through the guide

11:00 – Peer group formation prepare to present a 20 minute activity after lunch

Group 1- What’s in the Water

Group 2-Dragonfly Pond

Group 3- Water Works/Marsh Munchers

11:30 – LUNCH

12:15 – Explore the Park  Hike, bike, or pontoon tour

1:00-3:30 – Project Wild: Aquatic

3:00- Water Safari

3:30-3:45 – Wrap-up and Evaluation
