Come out and meet Sherman Alexie, author of The Absolutely True Diary of a Part-Time Indian, this year’s One Maryland One Book selection. Alexie will give a talk and Q&A, followed by a book signing. Seating is on a first-come, first-served basis.
This program is brought to you by the Maryland Humanities Council and coordinated locally by Chesapeake College in partnership with Page Turners: Girls who Read to Achieve, Cecile Weich, Esq., the Queen Anne’s County Chamber of Commerce, Talbot County Free Library, and the Caroline County Free Library.
NOTE: Alexie will also appear at the National Book Festival on September 25th in Washington DC on the Mall, sponsored by the Library of Congress. You’ll find the Maryland Center for the Book in the popular Pavilion of States.
