Nature Photography & Young Birders Camps

Enroll your child or grandchild in summer camp at the Ward Museum!

Young Birders Camp, for youth ages 7 – 13, is held July 18-22 from 9 a.m.-3 p.m.  Campers discover the fascinating world of birds through discovery hikes, games and live bird demonstrations.  Campers receive binoculars, field guides and nature journals to keep upon completion of the camp. Daily enrollment is also available.

Registration deadline for bird camp is Monday, July 11.

Nature Photography Camp, for youth ages 14-18, is held August 1-4 from 9 a.m.-5 p.m.  Campers learn technique for capturing nature through digital photography and editing software.  Cameras, lenses and other necessary equipment are provided.

Registration deadline for photo camp is Monday, July 25.

Scholarships are available to assist with the cost for both camps.
Scholarships are supported by donations from generous museum members
and the Tri-County Bird Club. For scholarship information and applications, click here.

Cost for each camp is $125 for members, $150 for non-members.
