can you tell me if the Nanticoke River is navigable and what it’s depth is and any overhead restrictions – also, is the Gravelly Fork considered part of the Nanticoke or is it a seperate river and what is it’s depth and overhead restrictions – same questions for the Broadkill
thanx for any help
It is navigable to Seaford and a little beyond. Depth in channel ranges, but should be over 9 feet. The Route 50 bridge at Vienna has an overhead restriction of 51′. Near Seaford the river is much more narrow and there is a drawbridge, however upstream of that bridge would not be the place for very big boats.
