Help the Lower Shore Land Trust conserve the natural heritage and rural character of Wicomico, Worcester, and Somerset County, MD by mobilizing volunteers to become easement stewards, community leaders, environmental educators, outreach and event coordinators, and specialized contributors to the work of LSLT.

This is a one year, full-time commitment as a member of AmeriCorps. The service year offers begins September 15, 2010 and offers extensive training, a $13,000 living allowance, and a $5,350 post-service education award. This program is a partnership between the Lower Shore Land Trust located in Berlin, MD, and Volunteer Maryland, a program of the Governor’s Office.  The selected applicant will have excellent communication skills a passion for conservation and volunteerism.
